Overview
Beijing International Studies University (BISU) is a municipal public university founded in 1964 in Beijing's Chaoyang district. It is co-funded by the Beijing Municipal Government and China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism; its Chinese name means "Beijing Second College of Foreign Languages". It has around 10,700 students.
Its tourism management department, opened in 1981, is considered a pioneer of tourism education in China, and translation and interpreting and foreign languages are also strengths. International students can choose from about 25 bachelor's programs: languages such as English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, plus diplomacy, tourism and hospitality management, event management, finance and international trade. Financial management is taught in English.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2024): Resmi 2024 kılavuzu (2025 güz kılavuzu apply.bisu.edu.cn'de boş sayfa). Harç 22.000 RMB/yıl, İngilizce Finansal Yönetim 20.000. Başvuru ücreti 800 RMB. Çince Dil bölümü HSK3+, diğer bölümler HSK5 + mesleki sınav ve sözlü mülakat; İngilizce bölüm IELTS 6.0/TOEFL iBT 80. Fakülte bilgisi kaynakta yok.
- Çince olmayan bölümler için lisans başvurusunda 18-50 yaş aralığı, lise diploması ve HSK 6 veya üzeri Çince yeterlilik belgesi (bazı kaynaklara göre asgari HSK 3) aranmakta, ayrıca bölüm sınavı ve sözlü Çince mülakatı geçilmesi gerekmektedir; başvuru son tarihi 31 Mayıs'tır. Çince dili bölümüne (Çince öğrenimi) başvuranlar için asgari HSK 3 seviyesi yeterli olup son başvuru tarihi 30 Haziran'dır. Yüksek lisans başvuruları için 50 yaş altı olma şartı, lisans diploması, HSK 7 veya üzeri seviye (bazı kaynaklara göre HSK 5) ve iki referans mektubu istenmektedir; son başvuru tarihi 31 Mayıs'tır. Başvuru ücreti uzun dönem programlar için 800 RMB, kısa dönem programlar için 400 RMB'dir.
- Lisans programlarının yıllık ücreti yaklaşık 22.000 RMB (yaklaşık 3.050 USD), yüksek lisans programları 25.000-30.000 RMB (yaklaşık 3.450-4.150 USD) civarındadır. Yurt/barınma maliyeti kişi başı yıllık 9.000-15.000 RMB arasında değişmekte olup bina ve olanaklara göre farklılık göstermektedir. Kısa dönem programlar 1-4 hafta için 1.000-3.000 RMB aralığındadır. Üniversite Çin Hükümeti Bursu (CSC) gibi ulusal burs programlarına ev sahipliği yapmaktadır; detaylı burs kapsamı için üniversitenin resmi başvuru portalından teyit alınması önerilir.
