Overview
Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) is a public university founded in 1962 in Haidian, Beijing. It reports directly to the Ministry of Education and its main mission is teaching Chinese language and culture to foreign students, so the share of international students on campus is very high. It has around 8,500 students.
Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, international Chinese language education and translation are its best-known fields. International students can choose from more than 30 bachelor's programs, including Chinese language (with business Chinese and Chinese-English or Chinese-Japanese bilingual options), Chinese language education, international relations and computer science. Finance, international trade, accounting, special education (speech and hearing science) and sinology are taught in English.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2026): Çince bölümler 25.800 RMB/yıl (İngiliz Dili ve İleri Çeviri Okulu 27.600), İngilizce bölümler 39.000. Başvuru/kayıt ücreti 800 RMB. 2026 güzden itibaren CSCA zorunlu. Uluslararası öğrenciye özel bölümler HSK4 (180+), ortak bölümler HSK5 (180-200+) + mülakat; İngilizce bölümler IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 80 (Sinoloji IELTS 6.5/TOEFL 90). Çift diploma ortağının harcı ayrıca (USTB 23.300, NACTA 35.000; Tokyo kampüsü 1.000.000 yen).
- Lisans programlarına başvuran adayların Çin vatandaşı olmayan, sıradan yabancı pasaport sahibi, lise diploması veya dengi belgeye sahip ve 18-55 yaş aralığında olması gerekir (daha genç adaylar okul onayı ve vasi belgesiyle başvurabilir). Çoğu Çince yürütülen program için HSK 5 (toplam 200 puan, her bölümde en az 60 puan) istenirken, Uluslararası Çince Öğretimi gibi bazı programlar için HSK 4 (toplam 180 puan) yeterlidir. İngilizce yürütülen bölümlerde HSK şartı aranmaz; genel İngilizce programları için IELTS 5,5 (her bantta en az 5,5) / TOEFL 80 / TOEIC 650, İngiliz Dili Fakültesi programları için ise IELTS 6,5 / TOEFL 90 istenir. Gerekli belgeler arasında pasaport bilgileri, HSK sertifikası, tercümeli lise diploması ve transkriptler, referans mektupları, 800 RMB kayıt ücreti, kefil/velayet belgeleri ve sabıka kaydı bulunur. Başvuru dönemleri yıl içinde iki ana alım dönemine (Mart ve Eylül girişleri) ayrılır; örneğin Mart 2026 girişi için son başvuru 12 Ocak 2026, Eylül girişi için 30 Haziran'dır. Yüksek lisans programları benzer belge setiyle birlikte daha ileri düzey HSK (genellikle HSK5-6) ve akademik referans/araştırma önerisi talep eder (Kaynak: admission.blcu.edu.cn).
- Standart lisans programları (4 yıl) için yıllık öğrenim ücreti 23.200 RMB (~3.200 USD), bazı özel/nitelikli programlar (Çince-İngilizce İkili Dil, Çince-Japonca İkili Dil, Çin Resim ve Kaligrafi gibi) için 24.900 RMB'dir. Yüksek lisans programlarında (3 yıl) standart ücret 25.700 RMB, Edebiyat ve Sanat Çalışmaları (Çin Kaligrafisi ve Estetik gibi) programlarında 30.700 RMB'ye çıkar. Başvuru ücreti derece programları için 800 RMB'dir ve öğrenim ücretine ders kitapları dahildir. Barınma ücretleri üniversitenin ayrı yurt sayfasında detaylandırılmakla birlikte, Pekin'deki benzer üniversitelerle kıyaslandığında aylık 1.000-1.500 RMB bandında olması beklenir. Çin Hükümeti Bursu (CSC, 'İkili Program Tip A' dahil) ve BLCU'nun kendi burs programları mevcuttur; bu burslar genellikle öğrenim ücreti muafiyeti, barınma katkısı ve bazı durumlarda yaşam gideri desteği sağlar (Kaynak: sicas.com.cn, admission.blcu.edu.cn).
