Overview
China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) is a public university in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, with roots going back to 1909. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education and co-sponsored by the Jiangsu government and the Ministry of Emergency Management, and it belongs to Project 211 and the Double First-Class initiative. It has around 35,000 students. (The institution of the same name in Beijing is a separate legal entity.)
It is a multidisciplinary technical university with a mining focus; mining engineering, safety engineering, mineral processing and geological engineering are its strongest fields. International students can choose from about 45 bachelor's programs; mining engineering, safety engineering and mechanical engineering are taught in English. Chinese-taught programs include architecture, civil engineering, artificial intelligence, geomatics and emergency management.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2026): Sayfa 2021 tarihli ama CSCA notuyla 2026 için güncel. Harç: Fen/mühendislik (BS) 14.600, sosyal/işletme (BA) 13.800 RMB/yıl. Başvuru ücreti 400 RMB, sigorta 690 RMB/yıl, yurt 3.000 RMB/yıl. Lisans yaş sınırı 25. CSCA zorunlu (burs CSCA puanına göre). Ayrı 'Outstanding Engineers' programı (6 bölüm, dil belirtilmemiş) listeye alınmadı.
- Genel kabul şartları diğer Çin üniversiteleriyle benzerdir: lise diploması, HSK seviyesi (Çince eğitim dilli programlar için genellikle HSK 4-5) veya İngilizce eğitim dilli programlar için İngilizce yeterlilik belgesi, sağlık raporu ve iyi akademik geçmiş istenir. Üniversite, GPA 2,80 ve üzeri olan uluslararası lisans öğrencilerine %25 ile %100 arasında değişen öğrenim ücreti bursları sunmaktadır - bu, CUMT'yi burs erişilebilirliği açısından listedeki en cömert üniversitelerden biri yapmaktadır. Standart belgeler arasında noter onaylı diploma/transkript, pasaport, sağlık raporu, başvuru formu ve niyet mektubu yer alır. Yüksek lisans ve doktora programlarında (özellikle Maden Mühendisliği ve Güvenlik Mühendisliği gibi amiral gemisi alanlarda) daha yüksek dil şartı ve bir danışman öğretim üyesiyle ön iletişim beklenir.
- CUMT, listedeki beş üniversite arasında en düşük öğrenim ücretine sahiptir: lisans programları yıllık 13.800-14.600 RMB (~1.930-2.040 USD) arasındadır (Kimya Mühendisliği ve Teknolojisi, Yangın Önleme Mühendisliği, Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri, Makine Mühendisliği, Maden İşleme Mühendisliği gibi programları kapsar). Yüksek lisans programları yıllık yaklaşık 16.200 RMB, doktora programları ise 17.000 RMB civarındadır. Barınma (iki kişilik oda) yılda yaklaşık 3.000 RMB, kayıt ücreti 200 RMB, zorunlu sağlık sigortası 600 RMB ve ders kitapları yaklaşık 300 RMB'dir - toplam yıllık maliyet bu haliyle Çin'deki en uygun fiyatlı seçeneklerden biridir. GPA 2,80 üzeri öğrenciler için %25-100 arası öğrenim ücreti bursları ve muhtemelen CSC bursu da mevcuttur.
