Overview
China University of Petroleum (Beijing) is a public university founded in 1953 as the Beijing Petroleum Institute. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education and belongs to Project 211 and the Double First-Class initiative. Since 2005 it and China University of Petroleum (East China) in Qingdao have been two separate legal entities; this page describes the Beijing university.
Petroleum and natural gas engineering, geosciences and chemical engineering are its strongest fields, and it has strong ties with China's major state energy companies. International students can choose from about 20 bachelor's programs; petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, international trade and English are available in English. Chinese-taught programs include offshore oil and gas engineering, oil and gas storage and transportation, and energy economics.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2026): CUP Pekin kampüsü. Lisans harcı tüm programlarda 25.000 RMB/yıl, 4 yıl. Çince: HSK4 ≥180; İngilizce: IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 75. Başvuru ücreti 400 RMB. Başvuru Ekim–15 Temmuz, mülakat var. Kaynakta fakülte bilgisi yok.
- Başvurular genellikle her yıl Ekim ayında açılır ve 15 Temmuz'a kadar devam eder (rolling/dönemsel kabul); dil programları tek dönem veya tam akademik yıl olarak esnek şekilde başvurulabilir. Genel olarak Çince eğitim dilli lisans programlarına başvuranlardan HSK 4-5 seviyesi, İngilizce eğitim dilli programlara (ör. Petrol Mühendisliği İngilizce program) başvuranlardan ise IELTS/TOEFL yeterliliği beklenir; adayların lise diplomasına sahip olması, iyi bir akademik not ortalamasına ve sağlık raporuna sahip olması gerekir. Başvurular çevrimiçi cie-registration.cup.edu.cn portalı üzerinden yapılır; standart belgeler arasında noter onaylı diploma/transkript, pasaport, sağlık raporu, niyet mektubu ve mali yeterlilik belgesi bulunur. Yüksek lisans ve doktora programlarında (özellikle Petrol Mühendisliği ve Jeobilim alanlarında) daha yüksek dil ve akademik şartlar ile bir danışman öğretim üyesinin ön onayı aranır; bu programlar CNPC, Sinopec gibi devlet enerji şirketleriyle bağlantılı araştırma projeleri sunar.
- Lisans programları için yıllık öğrenim ücreti yaklaşık 25.000 RMB'dir (~3.500 USD) - Muhasebe, Uygulamalı Kimya, Otomasyon ve Kimya Mühendisliği ve Teknolojisi gibi programları kapsar; Petrol Mühendisliği gibi amiral gemisi programlarda ücret benzer veya biraz daha yüksek olabilir. Yüksek lisans programları yıllık 29.000-31.000 RMB, doktora programları ise 36.000 RMB civarındadır. Çince dil hazırlık programı yıllık yaklaşık 21.000 RMB'dir. Üniversite, Çin Hükümeti Bursu (CSC) ve Pekin Hükümeti Yabancı Öğrenciler Bursu (Beijing Government Scholarship) dahil olmak üzere çeşitli burs programları sunmaktadır; bu burslar tipik olarak tam/kısmi öğrenim ücreti muafiyeti, barınma desteği ve aylık burs içerir - enerji/petrol mühendisliği stratejik bir alan olduğu için bu alanda burs kontenjanları görece geniştir.
