Overview
East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) is a public university in Shanghai's Xuhui district, founded in 1952 as the East China Institute of Chemical Technology. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education and belongs to Project 211 and the Double First-Class initiative. It has grown from an institute focused on chemical engineering into a broad-based university with around 25,000 students.
Chemistry and chemical engineering are its strongest fields, and materials science, bioengineering and business also stand out. International students can choose from more than 60 bachelor's programs; intelligent chemical engineering, biopharmaceutical engineering, intelligent manufacturing engineering, artificial intelligence, international trade and visual communication design (digital design) are available in English.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2026): Çince tek diploma 22.000 RMB/yıl (sanat bölümleri 30.000), Çince Joint Multi-Degree (3 yıl) için çift diploma tarifesi 32.000 varsayıldı; İngilizce Joint Multi-Degree 3 yıl, tek diploma 55.000 / çift diploma 70.000 RMB; Çince: HSK4 (fen 190, sosyal 210, yazma 60); İngilizce: TOEFL 80/IELTS 6.0/Duolingo 105; CSCA zorunlu; başvuru 600 RMB.
- Lisans başvurusu için adayların geçerli bir yabancı pasaportu olması, 16 yaşını doldurmuş olması, iyi sağlık durumunda bulunması ve lise diploması (veya dengi) ile mezun olması gerekiyor. Çince eğitim veren programlar için HSK 4 seviyesi zorunlu (sayısal/mühendislik bölümleri için 190+ puan, sosyal bilimler/işletme bölümleri için 210+ puan istenir); İngilizce eğitim veren programlar için TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.0 veya Duolingo 105 puanı yeterli kabul ediliyor. 2026 dönemi için burslu program başvuru son tarihi 30 Nisan 2026, kendi bütçesiyle (self-sponsored) başvuranlar için son tarih 10 Temmuz 2026 olarak açıklanmış. Standart evraklar arasında pasaport kopyası, diploma ve not dökümü, dil yeterlilik belgesi, sağlık raporu, motivasyon mektubu ve referans mektupları yer alıyor. Yüksek lisans/doktora başvurularında ayrıca lisans/yüksek lisans diploması, akademik referanslar ve çoğunlukla daha yüksek HSK/İngilizce şartı aranıyor.
- Yıllık ücretler programa göre değişiyor: İngilizce eğitim veren tek diploma programları 55.000 RMB, çift diploma (double degree) programları 70.000 RMB; Çince eğitim veren programlar 22.000 RMB (sanat bölümleri 30.000 RMB). Yurt ücreti günlük 80-110 RMB (yıllık yaklaşık 29.000-40.000 RMB), sağlık sigortası yıllık 800 RMB, başvuru ücreti ise 600 RMB (iade edilmez). Güncel kur ile (yaklaşık 1 USD = 7,2 RMB) yıllık öğrenim ücreti kabaca 3.000-9.700 USD aralığına denk geliyor. Burs olanakları arasında Çin Hükümeti Bursu (CGS Type A, sadece Çince eğitim programları için), Şanghay Hükümet Bursu (SGS Class B, '1+4' hazırlık+lisans programı) ve ECUST Başkanlık Bursu bulunuyor; tüm burslar başvuru sistemi üzerinden değerlendiriliyor.
