Overview
Nanjing University (NJU) was founded in 1902 as Sanjiang Normal School and took its current name in 1950. A public research university under the Ministry of Education, it belongs to Project 211, Project 985, the Double First-Class initiative and the C9 League of China's elite research universities. It has four campuses: Xianlin, Gulou and Pukou in Nanjing, and one in Suzhou.
Environmental sciences, earth and atmospheric sciences, chemistry, astronomy and physics are among its strengths. All of its more than 50 bachelor's programs open to international students are taught in Chinese, including archaeology, architecture, biology, computer science, economics, finance, geology, history, and Chinese language and literature. It suits students with strong Chinese who are looking for a research-oriented university.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2027): Tüm lisans programları Çince (HSK5 180+). CSCA sınavı zorunlu. Harç: sosyal 21.000, fen/işletme 24.000, yazılım 32.000, tıp 42.000 RMB. Başvuru 500 RMB.
- Lisans (bachelor) programlarının neredeyse tamamı Çince eğitim vermektedir, bu nedenle adaylardan HSK 5 belgesi (minimum 180 puan) istenir; Çin dili programına transfer olacak öğrencilerden HSK 6'da 180+ puan aranır (Malezya/Singapur'da 12 yıl Çince eğitim almış öğrenciler HSK şartından muaftır). İngilizce yürütülen az sayıdaki programda IELTS 5,5+ veya TOEFL 70+ yeterlidir. Akademik şartlar: 18 yaş üzeri, geçerli yabancı pasaport, lise diploması veya dengi, iyi sağlık durumu. 2026-27 döneminden itibaren yeni bir zorunluluk olarak China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) sınav sonucu istenmektedir (yılda 5 sınav tarihi sunulmaktadır). Gerekli belgeler: online başvuru formu, pasaport kopyası, lise diploması/bitirme belgesi, resmi lise transkripti, HSK sertifikası, CSCA sonucu, iki referans mektubu, kişisel niyet mektubu (personal statement). Başvuru takvimi: Mart-Mayıs arası online başvuru/sınav/mülakat, Haziran-Ağustos sonuç ve vize süreci, Eylül'de kayıt. Başvuru ücreti 500 RMB. Yüksek lisans için İngilizce yürütülen programlarda Duolingo 100+, TOEFL 85+ veya IELTS 6,0+ istenmektedir; doktora şartları benzer ama akademik referans ve araştırma önerisi ağırlığı daha fazladır.
- Lisans yıllık ücretler branşa göre değişir: Sosyal bilimler/edebiyat ¥21.000 (~2.950 USD), fen bilimleri/işletme ¥24.000 (~3.370 USD), yazılım mühendisliği ¥32.000 (~4.500 USD), tıp ¥42.000 (~5.900 USD) (1 USD ≈ 7,1 RMB kabul edilmiştir). Barınma dahil yıllık yaşam maliyeti tahmini (QS verisine göre): konaklama ~2.900 USD, yemek ~2.320 USD, ulaşım ~310 USD, faturalar ~950 USD. Çin Hükümeti Bursu (CSC, Type B, ajans no. 10284) tam burslu seçenek sunar: tam öğrenim ücreti muafiyeti, ücretsiz kampüs yurdu, yıllık 800 RMB sağlık sigortası ve aylık burs (lisans 2.500 RMB, yüksek lisans 3.000 RMB, doktora 3.500 RMB). CSC başvuruları genelde Kasım-Ocak arası NJU portalı (nju.17gz.org) üzerinden, CSC sistem son tarihi Mart ortası; sonuçlar Temmuz'da açıklanır, dönem Eylül'de başlar.
