Overview
Nankai University was founded in Tianjin in 1919 as a private school and is today a public research university under the Ministry of Education. It belongs to Project 211, Project 985 and the Double First-Class initiative. During the Sino-Japanese War it joined Peking and Tsinghua universities to form the National Southwestern Associated University, and Zhou Enlai, the first premier of the People's Republic of China, is among its alumni.
It has three campuses, Balitai, Jinnan and TEDA, and around 35,000 students. Mathematics, chemistry, history, economics and business are among its strengths. The roughly 40 bachelor's programs open to international students are taught in Chinese and include finance, insurance, international politics, journalism, Chinese-English translation, archival science and museology.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2026-2027): İKİNCİL KAYNAK: CUCAS (resmi 2026 katalog xlsx/pdf doğrulama kodu arkasında). Resmi sayfaya göre 41 Çince lisans programı, 1+3 model, süre 4 yıl (tıp 5); harç 20.000-35.000 RMB (sosyal 20.000, fen 25.000, diş/göz 35.000); başvuru ücreti 400 RMB; HSK4-180 + CSCA zorunlu; son başvuru 30 Haziran.
- Lisans başvurusunda adayların 1 Eylül 2008'den önce doğmuş olmaları ve mükemmel akademik performansa sahip bir lise diploması taşımaları gerekir. Çince yürütülen programlar için giriş şartı HSK 4. seviyede en az 180 puan olup, mezuniyete kadar HSK 6. seviyede en az 180 puan alınması zorunludur. CSCA (Çin Akademik Yeterlilik Değerlendirmesi) sınavı zorunludur; IELTS/TOEFL alternatifine dair resmi bir bilgi bulunmamaktadır, İngilizce yürütülen programlar için ayrı şartlar geçerli olabilir. Gerekli belgeler arasında pasaport, noter onaylı diploma belgesi, lise transkriptleri, CSCA puanları, niyet mektubu, HSK 4 sertifikası, referans mektubu, sağlık muayene raporu, mali yeterlilik belgesi ve sabıka kaydı belgesi bulunur. 2025-2026 dönemi için başvuru penceresi 20 Ekim 2025 - 30 Haziran 2026 olarak belirlenmiştir; kabul kararları ve vize belgeleri Temmuz 2026'da verilecektir. Yüksek lisans/doktora başvurularında benzer dil şartlarının yanı sıra akademik referans ve araştırma önerisi istenir.
- Yıllık öğrenim ücretleri programa göre değişmekte olup genel aralık 20.000-40.000 RMB/yıl (~2.750-5.550 USD) arasındadır: beşeri bilimler ve fen bilimleri programları ~30.000 RMB/yıl (~4.150 USD), tıp ve sanat programları ~40.000 RMB/yıl (~5.550 USD) civarındadır. Başvuru ücreti 400 RMB, konaklama aylık 1.000-3.000 RMB (yıllık ~12.000-36.000 RMB), zorunlu sağlık sigortası ise yıllık 800 RMB'dir. Nankai, Çin Hükümeti Bursu (CSC) kapsamında hem 'Üniversite Programı' hem de 'Yüksek Düzey Yüksek Lisans Programı (Tip B)' burslarını sunmakta, ayrıca ayrı bir Tianjin Hükümeti Bursu da mevcuttur; bu burslar genellikle öğrenim ücreti muafiyeti, konaklama ve aylık yaşam bursu sağlar.
