Overview
Tianjin Foreign Studies University (TFSU) is a public university run by the City of Tianjin. Its roots go back to a foreign-languages vocational school founded in 1964; it became a college in 1974 and took the name university in 2010. It has two campuses, on Machang Road and in Binhai.
It follows a "major + foreign language" teaching model. International students can choose from about 30 bachelor's programs; translation, business English and English are taught in English. Chinese-taught programs include languages such as Arabic, Czech, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese and Korean, as well as diplomacy, international organisations and global governance, law, journalism, digital media and animation.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2026): Tüm bölümler 15.400 RMB/yıl; başvuru ücreti 500 RMB; Çince bölümler HSK4 (180+), İngilizce bölümler IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 80; CSCA sınavı zorunlu; son başvuru 30 Haziran 2026. (TJAFA/TUT ortak 'deney sınıfı' programları hariç.)

Yüksek lisans programlarında 'yurt dışında eşdeğer eğitim almış olan öğrenci olmayan kişiler de başvurabilir' notu düşülmüştür, bu da başvuru sürecinin nispeten esnek olduğunu göstermektedir. - Üçüncü taraf kaynaklara göre (StudyAbroadAide) lisans programlarının yıllık ücreti yaklaşık 15.400 RMB (yaklaşık 2.150 USD), yüksek lisans programları yaklaşık 19.400 RMB (yaklaşık 2.700 USD) civarındadır; bu, araştırılan beş üniversite arasında en düşük tuition seviyesidir.
