Overview
Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) is a public university in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province, with roots going back to 1896; it grew out of the branch of Jiao Tong University that moved from Shanghai to Xi'an in the 1950s. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education and belongs to Project 211, Project 985, the Double First-Class initiative and the C9 League. It is the hub of the University Alliance of the Silk Road and has around 32,000 students.
Electrical, mechanical and energy engineering, computer science, medicine and business are among its strengths. International students can choose from about 50 bachelor's programs; materials science, electrical engineering, intelligent manufacturing, energy and power engineering, medicine (MBBS) and dentistry (BDS) are available in English. Chinese-taught programs even include calligraphy and business Chinese.

- Ücret ve şartlar (2026): Çince: fen/mühendislik 22.000, beşeri/ekonomi/işletme 20.000, sanat 40.000 RMB; İngilizce mühendislik (4 bölüm) 180.000, MBBS 40.000, BDS 50.000 RMB. HSK4 / IELTS 6.0-TOEFL 80. CSCA zorunlu. Başvuru ücreti 500 RMB (burslu 800).
- Lisans başvurusu için lise transkriptleri ve diploması (veya yakın zamanda mezuniyet belgesi) gereklidir. Dil şartı: Çince yürütülen programlar için HSK 4 seviyesi, İngilizce yürütülen programlar için en az IELTS 5.5 veya TOEFL 80 istenir. Başvurular School of International Education (SIE) üzerinden online yapılır; başvuru dönemleri genellikle önceki yılın sonu ile takip eden yılın ilkbaharı arasındadır (Eylül dönemi girişi için). Yüksek lisans/doktora başvurularında ayrıca lisans/yüksek lisans diploması, akademik referans mektupları, araştırma önerisi (doktora için) ve genellikle daha yüksek HSK/İngilizce seviyesi talep edilir; XJTU'nun MBBS (İngilizce Tıp) programı 6 yıl sürer ve ayrı bir başvuru süreci ile giriş sınavı/mülakat içerebilir.
